How do I access my storage unit?
You get personal access/key upon booking and can visit your unit every day between 05:00 and 22:00. You can easily drive right up with a car, van, or trailer.
Can businesses and tradespeople rent storage and warehouse units?
Yes, absolutely! Many local tradespeople, e-commerce stores, and businesses in Bankeryd, Habo, and Jönköping rent units for inventory, tools, materials, and seasonal goods. We offer spaces up to 70 m² with monthly VAT invoices.
How close is the facility to Habo and Jönköping?
The facility is located at Sjöåkravägen 27 in Bankeryd, right next to Route 195. It takes about 5 minutes by car from Habo and about 10 minutes from central Jönköping.
Is there a minimum contract period?
No, you rent month-to-month with no long-term tie-in and can cancel on short notice. Ideal for temporary moving storage as well as businesses with seasonal needs.
How secure is the facility?
The facility features 24/7 alarm monitoring, CCTV coverage at entrance/exit points, and restricted hours (05:00–22:00) to keep unauthorized visitors out at night. Only you hold access to your unit.
Which unit size fits my needs?
For tyres and seasonal sports gear, 1.5–3 m² is usually sufficient. For a full apartment/house move we recommend 5.8–14.3 m², and for businesses with pallets, machinery or inventory we offer units up to 70 m². Try our calculator or call us at 073-416 21 33!
How does payment work?
Payment is billed monthly. For business customers, VAT is clearly itemized on the invoice for straightforward accounting.
What does it cost to rent a storage unit?
Prices start at 450 kr per month for 1.5 m² and go up to 13,000 kr per month for 70 m². A unit that holds the contents of a smaller flat (5.8 m²) costs 1,200 kr per month. All eight sizes and prices are on the pricing page.
Are the prices inclusive of VAT?
Yes. Every price on the site is monthly rent including VAT, so it is the amount you pay. If you rent as a business, VAT is itemised on the invoice so you can deduct it.
What is the difference between storage, furniture storage and self storage?
In practice they are the same thing: you rent your own locked space and keep things there for a period. Furniture storage usually refers to household contents during a move or renovation, self storage is the general English term, and storage is the broadest word. Either way, you rent square metres and keep the key yourself.
Can private individuals rent, or is it businesses only?
Both. Private customers mostly rent for tyres, seasonal gear or household contents during a move or renovation; businesses for stock, tools and archives. The same prices and terms apply to both.
How much fits in a storage unit?
A rule of thumb is ten moving boxes per square metre. So 1.5 m² takes about 15 boxes plus the tyres, 5.8 m² holds the contents of a smaller flat, and 14.3 m² a full house. The calculator on the pricing page works out a size from your home's floor area.
Do I have to rent for at least three months?
No. We rent month to month with no lock-in and no minimum term. You cancel when you are done.
Are pallet jacks and trolleys available to borrow?
Yes! Right at the main entrance we provide pallet jacks and box trolleys that you as a customer can borrow free of charge whenever loading or unloading your unit.
